Sonora, CA (July 12, 2020) – An automobile accident reported on Wednesday evening sent one person to a local hospital with injuries. At approximately 9:15 p.m., on July 8, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Jacksonville Road.
Reports from CHP show that a red pickup truck and a gray Toyota Corolla collided head-on on Jacksonville Road at the intersection with Harney Drive. Injuries were confirmed in this accident. EMS provided treatment to victims at the scene of the accident and transported an unknown number of injured parties to area hospitals for further treatment and evaluation. At this time, CHP is investigating.
