San Jose, CA – Two Killed in Car Crash on Alum Rock Ave
San Jose, CA (September 28, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Alum Rock Avenue claimed two people’s life on Sunday morning. Just after 8:15 a.m., on September 27, the San Jose Police Department responded to the scene of an auto accident on Alum Rock Avenue.
Reports from authorities show that a van was traveling on Alum Rock Avenue when it collided with a red 2002 Nissan Maxima near the intersection with Alexander Avenue.
The driver of the Maxima, who was identified as an adult male, was fatally injured in the accident. Crews responding to the incident declared the man deceased at the scene.
A female passenger in the Maxima was rushed to an area hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The driver of the van was not injured in the accident. At this time, investigations surrounding the crash are ongoing.
