San Francisco, CA – Pedestrian Struck & Killed on San Jose Ave
San Francisco, CA (August 9, 2020) – An automobile accident reported in the Bernal Heights section of San Francisco claimed one victim’s life Saturday afternoon. At around 3:20 p.m., on August 8, the San Francisco Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on San Jose Avenue.
Reports provided by authorities show that a pedestrian was walking through the 1500 block of San Jose Avenue when they were struck by a 2001 BMW. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the crash. EMS responded to the site to render aid to the victim. However, they determined that the injuries to the victim were too severe. The victim was immediately pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
