San Francisco, CA – Bus Accident on Polk St Results in Injuries
San Francisco, CA (July 21, 2020) – An automobile accident reported on Monday evening left at least one person injured in the Tenderloin section of San Francisco. At approximately 10:15 a.m., on July 20, the San Francisco Police Department responded to the scene of a crash, along with the San Francisco Fire Department in the Tenderloin area.
Reports provided by officers with the San Francisco Police Department show that a grey sedan was traveling down Eddy Street in San Francisco when the vehicle was involved in a collision with a transit bus at the intersection with Polk Street. The collision resulted in extensive front end and side damages to the sedan and some front-end damages to the bus. Medical personnel responded to the scene of the accident to provide medical treatment at the scene to injured victims before transporting those in need of further care to local hospitals. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
