San Francisco, CA – Boat Fire near Avenue of the Palms Leaves One Injured
San Francisco, CA (July 2, 2020) – A fire incident in the bay area left one person seriously injured, according to reports. At 11:45 a.m., on July 1, the San Francisco Fire Department responded to a fire incident near 274 Avenue of the Palms.
Reports show that a fire broke out on a boat for unknown reasons. The SFFD state that the San Francisco Fire Department Marine Units went on board the boat and battled the blaze for roughly 45-minutes before taking control of the situation. One person on the boat suffered serious burn injuries to their face. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
