Pedestrian Accidents in California
Motor vehicle accidents can have a life-altering impact on the lives of victims. Regrettably, accidents happen far more often than we like to admit. Each year, roughly 14,000 pedestrians are injured in traffic-related incidents throughout the state of California. In many cases, victims suffer debilitating catastrophic injuries that require hospitalization and extensive medical treatment to recover. Not only are victims forced to deal with overwhelming pain and suffering, but the financial burdens they are forced to endure can be stacked as well.
Suffering from injuries as a result of an accident can mean endless medical treatment, multiple surgeries, and dealing with continuous pain. Although there are many treatment options available for victims, they come at a very steep cost. To make matters even worse, there is no promise of recovery. Numerous victims harmed in pedestrian accidents are left permanently impaired and forced to deal with pain and suffering indefinitely. For this reason, it is crucial that victims injured in accidents caused by negligent drivers contact a pedestrian accident attorney in California as soon as possible. Victims may be entitled to compensation to cover the costs of medical treatment, lost wages, and a variety of other damages they face as a result of their accidents.
