Richmond, CA – Accident on Eastshore Fwy (I-80) Injures Three
Richmond, CA (July 4, 2020) – An automobile accident in the Richmond area left three victims hospitalized, according to reports. Just after 12 a.m., on July 2, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a collision on the Eastshore Freeway.
Reports from CHP show that an Acura TL and a BMW sedan collided along the westbound side of the freeway, just east of the off-ramp for Cutting Boulevard. The collision resulted in extensive front-end damages to the Acura. The collision caused one of the vehicles involved to slam into a wall on the side of the highway.
A total of three victims were injured in this accident. EMS provided medical treatment at the scene of the collision. At least one person suffered serious injuries in this crash and was transported to an area hospital for further treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
