Red Bluff, CA – Two Killed in Warehouse Shooting off State Hwy 99W
Red Bluff, CA (June 28, 2020) – A workplace shooting claimed two victims’ lives in northern California on Saturday. Just after 3:30 p.m., on June 27, 31-year-old Louis Lane, who was a former employee at the Red Bluff Walmart Distribution Center, traveled at a high rate of speed in an SUV toward the facility, striking a pedestrian, and entering through the wall of the building. The vehicle then burst into flames as Lane exited his vehicle.
Once inside the warehouse, which is located on State Highway 99W, Lane opened fire on several employees inside the building. Two workers were fatally injured in the incident. Four oth4ers were seriously injured. Authorities later identified one of the fatally injured workers as 45-year-old Martin Haro-Lozano. The four injured victims remain hospitalized at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
