Oakland, CA (July 6, 2020) – An automobile accident in Oakland left one person seriously injured on Sunday morning. On July 5, the Oakland Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 5400 block of Foothill Boulevard.
Reports from police show that a pedestrian was traveling along the roadway, at approximately 10:30 a.m., when they were struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the accident. EMS responded to the site of the collision to provide medical treatment to the victim at the scene before transporting them to an area hospital for further medical treatment. At this time, police in Oakland are investigating the collision.
