Oakland, CA – One Killed in Truck Accident on Foothill Blvd
Oakland, CA (July 14, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident in Oakland claimed one victim’s life and left several others injured in the Frick area Monday evening. At approximately 11:30 p.m., on July 13, emergency crews in Oakland responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Foothill Boulevard.
Reports from authorities show that a multi-vehicle accident occurred on Foothill Boulevard at the intersection with 69th Avenue. A semi-truck involved in the crash was located at the scene fully engulfed in flames.
One victim involved in the crash was fatally injured. Three other victims were hospitalized with serious injuries. Crews worked diligently to clear the scene of the accident and restore the flow of traffic through the area. At this time, investigations surrounding the collision are ongoing.
