Oakdale, CA – Accident on CA-108 Leaves One Injured
Oakdale, CA (June 23, 2020) – A motor vehicle collision in the Oakdale area left one person seriously injured, according to reports. Just after 2:40 p.m., on June 21, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a major head-on collision on California Highway 108.
Reports from authorities show that a pickup truck was traveling down the California Highway 108 when the vehicle was struck head-on by a second vehicle near the intersection with Willms Road. The impact of the collision caused the pickup truck to roll over and burst into flames. The driver of the pickup was pulled out of his vehicle, escaping serious burns.
One person involved in this crash was critically injured. The victim was transported to Doctors Medical Center via medical helicopter for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
