Newcastle, CA (July 21, 2020) – A pedestrian accident reported on Monday morning left one person with major injuries in the Newcastle area. Just after 9:20 a.m., on July 20, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Newcastle Road.
Reports provided by officers at the Highway Patrol show that a road worker was performing duties of their job on Newcastle Road at the intersection with Auburn Folsom Road when they were struck by a vehicle.
