Motorcycle Accidents in California

Thousands of motorcyclists are injured in auto collisions throughout the state of California each year. These accidents are particularly devastating as victims often suffer catastrophic injuries that require extensive and ongoing medical treatment. In many cases, victims are forced to go through extensive medical treatment for broken bones, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. These accidents often leave people with overwhelming mental, physical, and financial pain and suffering. Many victims involved in motorcycle accidents are left permanently disabled.

Although there are a number of causes for collisions, roughly 80% are caused by the actions of drivers. Distractions, impairments, and engaging in other activities while operating a vehicle can lead to life-altering accidents. As more and more people are using their phones while driving and engaging in other reckless and irresponsible actions while behind the wheel, we continue to see a spiraling upward trend surrounding the frequency and severity of collisions throughout our state. When victims are harmed in collisions, due to the reckless, negligent, or careless actions of others, it is crucial that they seek legal guidance from a qualified motorcycle accident attorney in the San Francisco Bay Area as soon as possible.
