Marina, CA – Man Killed in Truck Accident on Espinosa Rd
Marina, CA (October 7, 2020) – One man lost his life in a vehicle collision on Monday evening, according to reports. At approximately 11 p.m., on October 5, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an auto accident on Espinosa Road.
Reports show that an 18-year-old man was traveling on Espinosa Road in heavy fog conditions. While passing through the intersection with Christensen Road, his vehicle collided with a truck that was pulling a harvesting machine.
The man’s car wedged under the truck, requiring responding firefighters to extricate the vehicle and the trapped victim. Once the vehicle was removed, the man was declared deceased. No other injuries were reported in this accident.
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
