Davis, CA – One Person Injured in Crash on 80 Freeway
Davis, CA (July 17, 2020) – A collision reported in the Davis area left one person injured on Thursday. At approximately 10:30 a.m., on July 16, emergency crews were called to the site of a car accident on Interstate 80.
Reports provided by the California Highway Patrol show that a blue Jeep Wrangler collided with a black Hyundai Tucson on the westbound lanes of the 80 Freeway near the area of Mace Boulevard. The impact of the collision caused one vehicle involved to overturn. One person involved in the crash suffered critical injuries. The injured victim was transported from the site of the crash to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
At this time, the California Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
