Colfax, CA – Multi-Vehicle Truck Crash on I-80 Leaves One Injured
Colfax, CA (October 6, 2020) – A multi-vehicle accident reported just east of Colfax left one person injured on Sunday. At approximately 5:50 p.m., on October 5, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 80.
Reports show that a crash involving three sedans and four semi-trucks took place on Interstate 80 for unknown reasons. Reports show the impact of the crash caused one of the trucks to jackknife in the westbound lanes, blocking the highway. The crash resulted in severe delays in traffic throughout the area.
One person involved in the accident was injured. The injured victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
