Burnt Ranch, CA – One Person Killed in Car Crash on CA-299
Burnt Ranch, CA (September 20, 2020) – A crash in Trinity County on Sunday morning claimed one person’s life. At around 10 a.m., on September 20, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on California State Highway 299.
Reports from authorities show that a vehicle collision took place on California State Highway 299 just east of the Burnt Ranch area. As a result of the crash, one vehicle turned upside down and landed in the Trinity River.
One person inside the vehicle was declared deceased at the scene. No other injuries were reported in this accident.
At this time, troopers with the California Highway Patrol are investigating the circumstances of the crash to determine what led to it taking place.
