Berkeley, CA (July 24, 2020) – An automobile accident reported on Thursday morning resulted in injuries in the Berkeley area. At approximately 10:30 a.m., on July 23, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Gilman Street.

According to reports provided by local news sources, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on Gilman Street near the intersection with Interstate 80. The impact of the collision resulted in extensive damages to the vehicles evolved. One motorcyclist was ejected from their vehicle during the crash. Several victims were rendered treatment at the site of the crash. An unknown number of injured victims were transported from the scene of the collision to area hospitals for treatment. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
