Motorcycle Accidents in California

Auto accidents throughout the state of California have an overwhelming impact on the lives of families. In fact, more than 150,000 people have their lives interrupted by accidents caused by negligent and reckless drivers throughout the state of California each year. In many cases, victims are forced to go through extensive medical treatment for broken bones, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. These accidents often leave people with overwhelming mental, physical, and financial pain and suffering.  Although there are a number of causes for collisions, roughly 80% are caused by the actions of drivers. Distractions, impairments, and engaging in other activities while operating a vehicle can lead to life-altering accidents. Victims who are riding motorcycles at the time of their accidents are at an increased risk of being injured.

Thousands of people are registered to own motorcycles in the state of California. Many choose this method of transportation because it is viewed as enjoyable and rejuvenating. It is also extremely cost-efficient. Motorcycle accidents often result in life-altering injuries due to the fact that riders remain relatively unprotected against other vehicles.  When motorcycles are involved in collisions, especially those with semi-trucks and commercial vehicles, they are likely to suffer serious injuries.
