74th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally
The 74th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally starts Monday and runs until Sunday (August 4 to August 10, 2014. The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is an event that revolves around everything motorcycle! Every year around this time, Main Street Sturgis turns into the mecca of motorcycle events, with bike shows, vendor exhibits, entertainment and competitions.
The first Rally started in 1938 with only 9 racers and a small audience watching the races. The 2013 Rally is estimated at over 467,000 in attendance. Motorcycle enthusiasts should make it a point to attend, if only once. Many return annually to one of the greatest motorcycle event in the world.
